Voiceflex launches PCI solution
Voiceflex, a leading carrier of communication solutions, announces the launch of Voiceflex PCI, designed to simplify compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) across all telephony applications.
Due to the complex nature of providing the service from a carrier’s perspective, achieving compliance has always been expensive, especially for smaller companies, where the expense often outweighed the risk of potential fines for non-compliance.
Not anymore, at Voiceflex, we like to keep it simple. Voiceflex PCI can be added to any SIP Trunk supplied by Voiceflex, irrespective of the telephony application, on-premises, single instance cloud-based solutions, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco, or our own UCaaS application Flow.
For example, customers with 10 SIP trunks who require two concurrent PCI calls simply need to enable PCI on two of these trunks to secure their transactions. Therefore, making compliance more affordable and accessible than ever.
Paul Taylor, CCO, said, “I’ve been waiting to launch this application for years. We’ve had numerous false starts with potential suppliers. I am so pleased to finally bring this solution to market. As a consumer, I refuse to give my credit card details over the phone if they don’t comply and potentially open me up to fraud. What other shortcuts might they be taking? With Voiceflex PCI, our partners and their customers can now trust that their sensitive information is secure.”
The PCI DSS provides a baseline level of protection for consumers and helps reduce fraud and data breaches across the entire payment ecosystem. It applies to any business handling payment cards, and there are significant penalties, fines, and costs for organisations that do not meet these standards.
Voiceflex PCI represents a significant opportunity for channel partners on so many levels.
